Mexico City authorities evacuated a building that is part of the facilities of the Federal Judiciary this Wednesday due to a bomb threat that turned out to be false. Through its official X account, the Mexico City Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) reported that specialized personnel from the Zorros group went to the building located on Insurgentes Sur avenue after receiving a report of a call warning about a supposed explosive. 'The officers supported the evacuation of workers and conducted an exhaustive review of all areas of the building, parking lots, bathrooms, offices, among others,' according to the SSC. After inspecting the building, authorities found no signs of risk. 'After a search, no object that could endanger the physical integrity of people was located, so the re-entry of workers was organized,' the institution indicated. Capital authorities reported no injuries or material damage derived from the alert. According to local media, the call that warned about the supposed explosive device came from a man who identified himself as a member of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). Its leader, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias 'El Mencho', was killed on February 22 in Tapalpa, Jalisco, during a federal operation. So far, the Federal Judiciary has not given information about the event.
